I will be joining the Department of Economics at the University of Leuven as an Assistant Professor in the Fall of 2017.
My research interests are in industrial organization, health economics, public economics and economic history. Specifically, I am mainly interested in the performance, design and regulation of health care markets. I am currently investigating the demand and supply effects of inertia of consumers. I have also worked on understanding the effects on firms and consumers of different aspects of contractual forms, such as different risks sharing schemes or length of contracts.
